2. Server logs
When this website is accessed, the web server automatically records technical access data in Apache log files. This may include, in particular, the IP address, date and time of access, the page or file requested, the HTTP status, and technical details of the browser used.
This data is used exclusively for the secure and reliable operation of the website, for error analysis, and for detecting and investigating abusive access.
The log data is not used for advertising, profiling or the analysis of user behaviour, and is not combined with other data sources.
The server logs are deleted after 180 days.
The FDPIC requires, in particular, transparency about what data is collected, for what purpose, and for how long it is stored.
3. Cookies and tracking
This website does not use cookies or comparable tracking technologies.
No web analytics, advertising or user-tracking services are used, and no user profiles are created.
Solely to display the privacy notice on the homepage, your browser's sessionStorage is used to note, purely locally, that you have already seen the notice, so that it does not reappear within the same browser session. This value is deleted automatically when the browser is closed, serves no tracking or analytics purpose whatsoever, and is not transmitted to our server or to third parties.
4. External links
This website contains links to external websites, for example LinkedIn. Merely visiting this website does not transmit any data to these providers. Only once you follow an external link do you leave this website; the respective provider is then responsible for any subsequent data processing.
5. Disclosure of personal data
The server log data generated in the course of operating this website is, in principle, not disclosed to third parties. Disclosure takes place only where required by law or necessary to defend against or investigate attacks.
6. Data security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the personal data processed in connection with this website against loss, misuse, unauthorised access and other unlawful processing.
7. Your rights
Under applicable data protection law, data subjects may in particular request information on whether personal data concerning them is being processed and, if so, which data, and may request its correction or deletion where applicable. The FDPIC expressly draws attention to these rights under the FADP.
Requests may be directed to the contact address given above.
